Geography is generally considered a very dry subject and that is because generally, it is. That doesn’t mean, however, that it can never be fun. After all, even in the desert cacti are born. Keeping that in mind, this is how to make CBSE geography fun.
Studying while listening to music is an art I have perfected over years of trying to get it right. When I first tried it, the sensation of listening to music while studying actually made me look forward to studying but I soon realized that it is a double-edged sword. The music can also be distracting. This is where the choice of music comes in. I recommend movie soundtracks, video game music or if you’re feeling particularly focused on studying, you might be able to listen to some music with lyrics.
Do not however listen to music you have never heard before while studying, the new experience is incredibly distracting.
Teach other people:
This tip comes in handy for students with willing younger siblings. Teaching them your topics in a way they can understand, requires you to break the topic into simpler portions and for you to explain the topic.
Studying with other people:
Humans are social animals, we’re meant to interact with others. That’s why it is a bit distressing when you are forced to stay all alone inside a room and study. How can this be helped? Studying with other people of course.
Some people say group studying distracts them and makes them lose focus, this is where tuitions come in. Tuition is like a group studying session except that there is somebody to supervise the class and ensure that there are no distractions. AfterMySchool provides tuition classes for classes 4th to 10th, sign up for AfterMySchool and start your DISCOVER Program as soon as possible.
I hope this has helped you study geography in a more enthusiastic manner, for more such tips, you can read our blog on how to make studying fun.
